TEXMESH OUTDOOR FURNITURE SLING MESH

Our UV treated outdoor furniture TEXMESH ® is a product that has been used extensively thought Australia for all types of external applications where structural integrity is paramount and functionality is necessary – owned and distributed by our parent company Leisure Cushions Australia Pty Ltd, TEXMESH ® is designed using a minimum 1000 Denier strand weave that is coated in the highest quality Uv-pvc/ure combination that gives the finished colour coated yarn, a strength and durability needed in a commercial application. The yarn is woven in such a way that water will pass through and air dry quickly while still offering structured support to the person using the furniture – the mesh is available in many colourways and in many different weave blends. All slings supplied on our outdoor furniture are manufactured using a RF (high frequency) welding process that has exact tooling made specifically to suit the product we build – this process means the slings are manufactured consistent in design, style and sizing – this is particularly important if the furniture needs to be refurbished in the future because replacement slings will always be available. All slings supplied by us are reinforced where necessary and with 25 years’ experience as outdoor furniture, sling and cushion manufacturers – you can be assured our designs are made to last.

Types and styles of Slings we make using Texmesh Outdoor furniture mesh using Texmesh Standard and
Texmesh Commercial grade fabrics:-

1: Slings for Pvc Outdoor furniture :- chairs, sunlounges, footstool, kids beds and pet beds
This type of sling design is manufactured using Texmesh Outdoor Furniture sling grade mesh fabrics slung with tension between two or more points and is wrapped over the frame of the Pvc furniture – slings made for this type of furniture are attached to the frame either by the use of mechanical fixings such as rivets, screws or most commonly – canoe clips – by wrapping the mesh around the frame we not only attach the sling to the frame, we also are able to increase structural intensity of adhesion with the addition of surface tension that dissipates the pressure at the fixing point – this is the reason slings on Pvc furniture last years and years without the slings pulling away from the frame.

2: Slings for Aluminium outdoor furniture: – chairs, sunlounges and footstools
The most common style of sling for aluminium furniture is called a slip sling because it slides into an extruded channel in the aluminium frame and is then tensioned by the use of either frame tensioning bars or bolts that tighten against an outer frame section. Slip slings have pockets down either side where a plastic spline is inserted (much like the design of sail track). This spline is then pulled against the frame under tension to tighten the sling. We do not offer a padded version of this type of sling unless we are fitting them ourselves. Other styles of aluminium furniture such as faux wicker woven over the frame can be saved when the wicker deteriorates by designing a sling that wraps over the frame an attaches underneath by the use of eyelets and VB chord which is tensioned so no drilling that could compromise the frame integrity is necessary.
